Why ghee?

We not only love its delicious buttery flavor, but we wanted more choice over where we get our ingredients from. We originally started with a recipe using extra virgin olive oil, but decided to, instead, use delicious grass-fed butter sourced from local farms. We support producers who farm or craft their products in a sustainable manner - not harming the environment, providing fair wages, and supporting the local economy. 

Is ghee good for you?

Yes! Ghee is a better cooking alternative to butter, while still maintaining the same delicious taste. It's a natural source of omega fatty acids, CLA, Butyric acid, and vitamins A, K, D, and E, which can improve gut health and biochemistry, as well as allowing your body to absorb nutrients from the food you eat. 

Is ghee vegan? 

No. Although ghee is lactose-free, ghee is made by simmering and straining out the milk solids in butter.

Is your granola gluten free?

Indeed! Our granola's primary ingredient is organic gluten-free rolled oats.

Is your granola organic?

We believe in organic integrity and source organically as much as possible: our sourcing comes down to the ingredients' availability, and the choice to purchase certified organic or local ingredients. Many of our local farms practice organic agriculture but may not pursue certification due to the costs. All our ingredients are non-GMO.

Why is your product more expensive than other granolas?

Our granola truly uses the best ingredients we can find. Most granola companies use cheap ingredients, such as sugars, syrups, or canola oils. Instead of baking with oils, we bake with ghee, which we make ourselves from grass-fed, cultured butter from farms in the northeast. Our vanilla bean granola is also made with pure, ground vanilla beans sourced from Madagascar. These can come at hundreds of dollars per pound. We started this business with the mission to provide you with an exceptional flavor experience and believe the ingredients we carefully source are well worth-it.

How long will my granola stay fresh and how should I store it?

Take a look at the best buy date at the bottom or the back of the bag - we do recommend eating it way before that date for optimal flavor! We always want you to have the freshest experience. We recommend storing it under cool, dry conditions, or even better, in the fridge to extend the shelf life. Reseal your bag tightly once opened or store in an air-tight container, as air will cause granola to go stale.

What do I do with your granola?

Although most people like eating it straight out of the bag, our granola offers so many creative uses! You can most definitely put the rosemary and vanilla bean flavors on yogurt.
